Pete’s Barber Shop is a long-standing, traditional barbershop located at 5833 Margate Blvd, Margate, FL 33063. Established in 1956, it has been serving the Margate community and surrounding areas such as Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Tamarac, Pompano Beach, North Lauderdale, Parkland, and Boca Raton for decades.
Ownership and Legacy: In July 2024, long-time barber Elijah Zamora took over ownership from Steve Strouse, who had been with the shop for 25 years, including 17 years as owner. Zamora, who has worked at Pete’s for about ten years, aims to continue the shop’s tradition of providing consistent, high-quality service.
I’d like to mention that Pete’s Barber Shop is veterans friendly, when Komim Kares was doing our veterans event they were very generous in giving coupons to veterans that needed free haircuts and I really really appreciate and thank them for doing that they also provide first responders with a discount as well
